Extreme, extremists, extremism …… all currently used terms, pointed by each side in our divided nation, at the other. But why? And how did this come about? There has always been a difference of opinion when there was a topic and two or more people to consider it.
The extreme example of extremism is our current political parties. How far apart can the extremists in each party get from one another? At some point any modicum of common sense ( or any kind of sense ) has obviously been abandoned.
All this is obvious, so the question now is, WHY? And next, WHAT do we do now? I believe we are witnessing the self destruction of our nation. I am worried!!
Our elected leaders are in control of our direction and therefore our future, so why can’t they see where we are headed and change course. Are they truly blind to what they are doing or are they just determined to have their way regardless of the consequences and take us all down with them? I say “God help us” because I’m not sure, at this point anyone else can.
