There are some who refuse to watch or listen to the news, those who watch or listen to extreme left sources, and those who watch or listen to far right or conservative sources. So what do you think the future holds for each of these? Who will be shocked and horrified when reality hits them in the face? Who will be prepared or unprepared for what we will all face? The ” information ” is out there in quantities you can drown in!

The question is ” what or who do you believe to be accurate or truthful? ” Who is giving you facts and who is giving you THEIR OPINION? What or who in your life experience guides or convinces you to believe, accept , or trust the information you are given?

I am a Christian so I believe Gods’ Word! I’m also extremely conservative and skeptical by nature. So , once more , who or what source do you accept to guide your decisions, opinions, your very life? I ask you to consider the question CAREFULLY!!

Is God punishing us for turning away from Him or is He just allowing us to self destruct? It doesn’t take a hard look (for anyone with morals) to see the serious decline in morality in the U S. There are numerous examples, both biblical and non biblical of nations destroyed from within, with this as a primary reason. Just look in the Bible and world history books!

The second killer of nations, after immorality, is division! America has never been more divided than now. We are divided politically, racially, morally, economically, etc. The question is “How do we get off this road to destruction?” I can give you the answer, but how many will accept it? Well I can’t actually give you the answer directly, but I can certainly direct you to where you can find it. It’s called The Holy Bible and you can find it almost everywhere. The problem is, most people ( and peoples ) are looking for the answer in “all the wrong places”! Check out my opinion and see if I’m not right!!

If not, you should google him! Muhammed Saeed al-Sahhaf was giving press briefings during the 2003 invasion of Iraq. His reports of the events were so patently ridiculous that they were more like a comedy routine. Totally unbelievable!!!

Now consider our current mainstream media and many of the liberal politicians who report the ” news ” or make ” factual ” statements about issues or events. Much of what they “report” is as obviously ridiculous and laughable. What I don’t understand is how many people are perfectly willing to believe such, without question! And why are so many willing to dismiss both science and tradition and accept patently ridiculous supposed “scientific facts” and social or cultural “changes “. Things like, same sex marriage is normal, you can change your sex, men can have periods and get pregnant, our economy is doing great, and our future is promising under our current political leadership and their policies.

Well excuse me while I burst into hilarious laughter just before I burst into tears and fits of anxiety for my country and my children and grand children!!!

I have one word for you: consequences. In elementary school we are ( or at least used to be ) taught that ” For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction”. That was, of course, in reference to physical actions. I’m considering other types of actions, like the actions of politicians, criminals, and leaders in other areas including religion. If we as individuals and as a nation don’t change our actions quickly, we are going to face very serious consequences!

I’m not advocating or hoping for violence which, by the way we have had plenty of in recent years. These are currently causing serious, even horrific consequences. Think riots, crime, moral decay, and more. Daily news reports highlight immediate consequences of these things, but I am personally concerned with long term consequences leading to the eventual, complete destruction of our culture and our nation. I believe we stepped onto this path in the sixties when ” we ” decided to take God out of schools, then government, and now everything. I see us heading, ever faster, down this path toward total destruction, especially in the last few years. I’m old but I fear I may still live long enough to see the end of our nation and perhaps the world. I’d like to see the end brought about by the return of Jesus Christ and honestly I’m wondering why He hasn’t already returned!!

“show horses not work horses” is taken from Mike Pompeo’s book talking about politicians who spend most of their efforts being flashy, vocal, camara hogs ,wanting to be seen and heard. Unfortunately their desire to be noticed is too often to promote themselves instead of the needs or desires of those they were elected or appointed to serve. Yes the word is “serve” not “self serve”!

To serve means to put forth effort for someone to achieve their wants or needs. Self serve means you are focused on achieving your personal desires or goals. I think leaders, whether elected or appointed, should focus on what those who put them in the position need or want done, and if they do the job well I think they will get the desired personal rewards they are expecting, which I in no way oppose.

I’ve stated before that I agree with the statement and opinion that government is ” a necessary evil” but have you noticed recently just how evil it has become? I have come to hate election years! That’s when (primarily) two political parties put forth their “best candidates for the office of….., then work as hard as they can to smear, destroy the credibility , character , etc. of one another so much that you hesitate to vote for either.

Then whoever is least destroyed and gets elected rarely does what they promised so we are sorely disappointed in them and question whether we chose the “best” candidate after all. While the system is still the best one going, I personally believe we need , at least, a new political party.

While I’m not fond of the idea of mixing politics and religion , I do think we need a new party, perhaps called the Conservative Christian Party. CCP. Ironic huh? The party should be based on conservative and Christian values , which are similar if not almost interchangeable ,and strangely similar to the values the Founding Fathers based the establishment of the country upon. Candidates should be strongly vetted to revere the U.S. Constitution, Christian, and conservative values, and be well versed in the functions and operation of the government. I , and I believe most citizens with similar beliefs and opinions as myself, would be much more comfortable voting for such candidates. I believe this would remove issues of race, gender, and immorality. It could also change our culture so that God would be less likely to destroy us, which , I fear is our future if we continue in the direction we are headed.

Some political systems and some religions are all about power and control. Political power allows for control of the people they govern. In some religions the leadership exerts control over their followers, who generally, voluntarily accept it.

The quote “Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely” is absolutely right! Power is very addictive, like the worst kind of drugs. The pleasure derived from a little taste of it entices one to want more. Then the more you get , the more you want. So how do we break the addiction to political power? Term limits would certainly help. Some form of punishment for the abuse of power is another way. But, I believe the best solution is to invest those with power who are proven to be intelligent, moral, and worthy of trust, and with an understanding of what is best for those who have trusted them with control of said power.

As for religion I would simply ask that you compare the various religions with an open mind and no prejudice, to see which promotes the best possible outcome for the practitioners and all who might be within their area of influence. Having done this, I choose Christianity!

Have you heard the saying “beyond the pale”? An FBI raid by a massive force with guns drawn on the personal home and offices of a former president, including breaking into his safe, and then confiscating, who knows what. Now that is ” beyond the pale. “The purpose of this raid was supposedly to recover records that were to be archived and which MAY include sensitive/high security items. This could have been accomplished with the submission of a subpoena without any fanfare.

I believe the real reason for the raid was to embarrass Trump and to attempt to find anything that could possibly allow for a criminal charge, in order to make it impossible for him to run for office again. I think they were hoping to get their hands on something they could claim to put the country, somehow, at risk, or perhaps his tax information which they have been drooling over for years, in hopes of charging him of tax fraud. I don’t doubt that the democrats or possibly even the FBI, who’s leadership seems to be in the pocket of the democrats might even plant evidence against him. They hate and fear him that much!

Our great nation is rapidly descending into third world status. If it is not already too late, I believe our only hope is in a return to Christian values and the merciful character of our Lord!

The media just reported an FBI raid on former President Trump’s home, including breaking into his personal safe and offices, even reportedly going through closets. Supposedly to find records maybe including classified documents, that supposedly are to be archived. The democrats and THEIR media have fought and stymied everything he has tried to do or was even loosely involved in ever since he announced his run for the presidency.

BUT, I’m not questioning how THEY can raid a now private citizen’s home. THEY are firmly perched in the political seat of power of our nation, so THEY can do whatever THEY want to. When I ask “how can they?” I’m asking how can half or more of the citizenry not see the truth of what is happening in and to this country.

I contend that anyone with an IQ above 3 and access to ANY information about current events and conditions, has to WANT to believe that things are fine in this country. Even the most hard core of the democrats, liberals, progressives, etc. are having to pay more for gas, food, and everything they can still find in the stores, while watching the economy struggling and crime spiking.

AND just as importantly and in many ways as impactful is the effects of the cultural trend toward immorality and the indoctrination, rather than the education, of our children and youth. Can anyone tell me HOW CAN THEY?

I told my wife that I could become president. She scoffed! But I explained that since I have no criminal record, verified by an in-depth background check to get my locksmith license, I’ve passed the first test. I’m reasonably intelligent, a retired veteran, and generally well thought of. So I’m convinced that in our culture and current political climate, I could get elected to any political office of my choosing. All I would need, beyond the aforementioned qualifications, is unlimited funds! Am I then saying that an election can be bought? Absolutely! With the ability to put my face, along with a positive message about myself, touting all of my abilities and qualifications, constantly in front of the voting public, who would not vote for me?

Doubt me? look at the fund raising and the advertising bought with huge amounts of money, then look at who has been elected and what kind of job they are doing. Then ask yourself, and answer honestly, are these the best people we had available for these positions. Also ask yourself whether or not they are doing the best possible job for us of what they were elected to do?

Consider too, how small a negative statement, even barely ( or not even actually believable ) can create enough negativity to create doubt. Even an outright lie, though denied, can be believed by enough people to destroy a candidates best efforts to get elected.

In the greatest country ever established, with the best political system ever devised, I still can’t feel completely confident in our elected officials, especially when they are in the process of destroying this country.
